Winter Solstice is the perfect time time to set new intentions and get some wonderful healthy self care rituals going. Life gets busy over the holidays and we usually make less time for ourselves. Leaving us run down and sick when the festivities begin. Just 15 mins of daily yoga and meditation alongside with some fun easy self care rituals can take your yoga practice up to a new level and enhance your physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing. Starts Monday 4th December, it’s free for all my online yoga members. If you aren’t a member already, it costs £29.99 to join for a month.
I will be sending you each week along with some yoga and meditation a list of lovely self care rituals suggestions for you to try.
- RITUALS: Practicing rituals, which can be as simple as using a breath technique you use at the same time everyday, setting an intention for your day or even creating a peaceful space in your home and lighting a candle as symbol of your new solar year intentions.
- AFFIRMATIONS: A powerful tool for manifesting your goals. Play with different ones and practice them often enough until you believe in it and have the ‘feeling’ of it being true.
- SURRENDER: Allow yourself to release, relax and let go! All is Well and everything you desire is coming to you perfectly’. Also recognising when you need to make some time to REST. Surrendering to your body’s need to benourished is very important!
- NATURE: Connecting with nature not only keeps us grounded but keeps our small worries in perspective. Walking on the sand with bare feet, swimming in the ocean or simply sitting and meditating on the natural beauty around us will raise your vibration into harmony with the vibration of your true desires and the longer you can stay in this harmony the quicker your desires will manifest.
- YOGA & MEDITATION: nurtures the body with gentle movement, promoting flexibility and strength, while meditation cultivates a peaceful mind. Engaging in yoga and meditation during the winter solstice offers a harmonious alignment with the natural rhythms of the season. As daylight diminishes and the world quiets down, these practices provide a sanctuary for self-reflection and inner peace.

Winter Solstice Ritual Kundalini Yoga & Meditation Online Workshop 5-7am
The earths magnetic field or aura is strongest during the Solstices. The hours before dawn is the most powerful time of the day for yoga and meditation. We will be taping into this energy to create stronger energy fields and to expand our inner selves.
Yogi Bhajan says, “in the West we feel that if we build our outside and expand ourselves materially, we will be strong and have balanced lives. But this is wrong. There is an inner law that for every expansion, there is a corresponding. You must work first to develop the spiritual power inside. Then the power of the outside world will become smaller and you shall be in command.”
This holistic yoga and meditation experience will deeply nourish our spiritual side so we are more in command of our outside world and can attract powerfully what we need in our lives.
For the online workshop all you will need is a warm blanket, a yoga mat, meditation cushion if you have one.
Please bring sage and palo santo if you have them to waft around your body to cleanse your energy and help you set your intentions for the morning practice.
Create a nice space in your home, somewhere peaceful and quiet. Crystals and flowers can make it more special. Candles to light your way.
A warm drink such as herbal tea.
A cold shower beforehand is the traditional Kundalini Yoga way but optional.
