Rose Rituals: 6 Weeks Plan for Self-Care, Beauty & Blooming

Welcome to your weekly Rose Rituals! Each week, enjoy a new sacred self-care practice that invites you to slow down, soften, and blossom into summer. These rituals are optional, gentle, and beautiful ways to support your yoga, meditation, and light living journey.


WEEK 1: Beauty from Within

  • Begin your 40 Days to Bloom Tracker
  • Rose Meditation with fresh or wild roses on your altar
  • Heart-opening cup of Cacao before meditation or journaling
  • DIY Rose Water Facial Spritz

How to Make Rose Water:

  • Simmer 1 cup rose petals in 1.5 cups water, covered, for 15–20 mins (don’t boil)
  • Cool, strain, and store in spray bottle (lasts 5–7 days in fridge)
  • Spritz on face or body before/after practice

WEEK 2: Purify Body & Mind

  • Choose one “Liquid Light Day” this week (juice or fruit till noon)
  • Try a Rose & Citrus Water (add rose water + orange/lemon slices + mint)
  • Smudge your space with sage or palo santo before practice
  • Rose & Citrus Water Recipe:

    • 1L water, a few orange/lemon slices, 1 tsp rose water, mint or basil leaves

    • Chill, infuse 1–2 hours, enjoy!

    Rose Smoothie Idea:

    • 1 frozen banana

    • ½ cup strawberries or raspberries

    • 1 tsp rose water

    • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup

    • 1 cup almond or coconut milk
      → Blend and sip mindfully post-yoga

Gratitude Practice:

  • Think of 10 things you are grateful for and say “thank you” for each

 


WEEK 3: Flexible & Free

  • Rose Oil Foot Massage before bed or after yoga nidra
  • Palo Santo Breath Ritual: pause + connect before yoga
  • Add rose oil to your body rolling sessions

DIY Rose Oil Blend:

  • 30ml carrier oil (almond or jojoba)

  • 5 drops rose essential oil

  • Optional: 2 drops lavender for sleep, 2 drops orange for uplifting energy


WEEK 4: Elevate the Spirit

  • Gratitude Rose Ritual: hold your rose, name 3 things you’re grateful for
  • Sunrise Spritz with rose water to welcome the day
  • Sage/palo santo pre-practice grounding

Healthy Drink: Rose & Berry Refresher

A cooling, uplifting iced tea blend that pairs beautifully with this week’s focus on clarity and energy. Ingredients:

  • 1 berry or hibiscus herbal tea bag
  • 1 tsp rose water
  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup
  • A handful of fresh berries (optional)
  • Mint leaves (optional)
    Brew tea and allow to cool. Stir in rose water and sweetener. Serve over ice with berries and mint for a beautiful finishing touch.

WEEK 5: Take Stress Away

  • Rose Bath Ritual: Epsom salts, rose oil, and petals in a warm soak
  • Sound + Rose Meditation (gentle music, chimes, or singing bowls)
  • Candlelit Journaling with rose-scented candle nearby

Bath Blend:

  • 1 cup Epsom salt + 1 tsp dried rose petals + 4 drops rose oil + 2 drops lavender oil

Summer Rose & Raspberry Smoothie

This refreshing smoothie blends heart-opening rose with cooling summer fruits — perfect for calming the nervous system while lifting your mood. Ingredients:

  • 1 frozen banana
  • ½ cup raspberries or strawberries
  • 1 tsp rose water
  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1 cup almond or coconut milk
    Blend until smooth and enjoy post-yoga or as a mid-morning ritual.

 Tip: Practice yoga outdoors and enjoy the benefits of nature


WEEK 6: Radiate & Celebrate

Theme: Radiance, joy, completion

Rituals:

  • Mini Rose Ritual Ceremony before Solstice practice: spritz rose water, light a candle, set an intention

  • Make a Rose Mandala or Flower Circle for your mat (with petals or wildflowers)

  • Cacao + Rose Tea Celebration Drink:

    • Brew cacao with a splash of almond milk and 1 tsp rose water

    • Add cinnamon + vanilla for warmth

  • Summer Solstice Rose Cooler

    A light, refreshing drink that celebrates the joy and clarity of the solstice. Ingredients:

    • 1 herbal tea bag (peppermint or chamomile both work well)
    • 1 tsp rose water
    • Juice of ½ lemon
    • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup (optional)
    • Fresh mint or edible flowers for garnish
      Steep the tea in hot water, then cool completely. Stir in lemon, rose water, and sweetener. Serve chilled over ice for a peaceful, celebratory solstice sip.
  • Gratitude & Completion Journal Prompt:
    “What has bloomed in me over the last 40 days?”
