If the idea of detoxing appeals, you might like to try this New Year Free 5 day online challenge. It feels like a mini yoga detox retreat you can do for yourself at home. It encourages eating loads of fruit and vegetables to give your digestive system a deep clean and a real healthy boost. Designed to help busy people find a little me time everyday to help switch off, recharge and get in shape. By following 15 minute daily yoga videos you can detox your mind and detach yourself from your busy day.

I will also be sharing lots of lovely holistic detox tips such as meditation, massage, bodyrolling, reflexology and guided relaxation and meditation. Detoxing is soooo much easier to do a group rather than by yourself. By the end of the 5 days you will being feeling fabulous and have a new routine where you think about you first for a change.

Meet Jenny Greenlees
I started my yoga journey going to class but I really gained all the benefits when I started practicing everyday at home.
All you need is a mat and maybe a blanket and cushion. You don’t need to waste time getting in the car to drive or go anywhere. Just find a quiet corner in your home. Before long, everywhere you go you will be figuring out those quiet spots to get your yoga done. Sometimes I would light a candle and put on some music. It makes a fantastic ‘time out’ from a busy day and wonderful self care. I really look forward to my yoga every day. Mornings suit me best or if I run out of time I would bring my mat to work and fit it in a break. Or a quick stretch or roll before bed always feels like it is clearing away all the stress from my busy day. It doesn’t have to take long and its amazing how good you feel after a short 10-15 minute stretch. I really need to do some every day as I am quite hard on my body doing a lot of massage, or sports like running, paddle boarding, sometimes swimming and housekeeping of course. I don’t not want to get any injuries!
Healthy eating is a big part of yoga. I have followed vegetarian and vegan diets, fasting and detoxing and love sharing any tips with my students. Its easy to get into the habit of drinking more water and making healthy smoothies and drinks everyday, so I have incorporated this my 5 day challenges.
Nowadays life seems to have gotten even busier as a mum and a wife but 15 minutes everyday is all I need to stay in shape, keep sane and injury free.
I love having yoga at my fingertips! I do more yoga than I would do going to class. I work evenings and weekends and find it really hard to get to classes with homework and dinners to make etc. If I do 15 mins yoga everyday that adds up to 90 mins a week. If I miss a day I can do more on the other days. I am still stretching each week. Once I get going it feels so good I often add my own stretches body rolling in as well.
If you dont do any stretching this is a fantastic habit to get into to stay feeling young, flexible and free. I really enjoy getting the benefits every day and I can even do it on holidays or in the gym.
